The device uses plasma technology, which on contact with the skin stimulates instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres with the aim of reducing skin laxity or excess skin. Due to this innovative device, it is now possible to obtain similar results to that of traditional surgery, using only topical anaesthesia, without a scalpel, without scarring and without unnecessary risks.
The procedure is best performed on small localised areas of the face or body, such as the eyelids, around the mouth (smokers’ lines) and the neck. PlexR is also used increasingly for the treatment of other conditions such as the removal of benign skin growths and lesions.
